In Week 7, we experimented with white balance after learning the in depths of temperature control in photography. We learnt about how different temperatures – warm and cool – can create different moods and produce very different results. We can use our camera’s white balance settings to ensure we capture an image most accurate to what we see with the human eye.
A major take away from this lesson is that we should always shoot raw no matter what and that auto white balance is usually the way to go. I’d definitely do this as it’s easy to change white balance and temperature in post production.
I really love the fluorescent lighting – it’s so fun to work with.
